Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These additional instruments will allow me to create a musical space in my classroom in which students can learn to explore music and create in community. We have pianos, keyboards and guitars which students currently use to hang out and explore music together. The new drum set and percussions will give access to more students to participate and complete our students ability to jam and create music together.
My amazing students are from the eastside San Jose community.
