My students need a new bookcase for our classroom library. They also need 6 book bins to store more books on those shelves!

My Students

“The greatest gift is a passion for reading.” - Elizabeth Hardwick This is one of my favorite quotes and an idea I try to instill in my students every day in our classroom.

My students are curious and eager learners.

My class consists of twelve special education students who are lively and eager to learn everyday! My students are in a self-contained classroom due to their specific learning needs, many of which are literacy based. My school teaches students to embrace a love for reading each and every day!

My Project

These resources will help my students easily access books each and every day in the classroom. In order for my students to find the right book for them, they need space while perusing the library! Right now my classroom library is cramped and book bins are squeezed into book shelves. These new resources will allow my library to expand to fit new books and spread out all the amazing books the library already possesses. Having a neat and orderly library will make choosing books for readers more enjoyable and organized.

These resources will help organize my classroom library and in turn will help my students achieve their reading goals.
