Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Young artists love to work with watercolor. It is a brilliant media that has brought forth so much beauty in the world of art. Early secondary isn't just dipping our brushes in the paint anymore, it's all about learning real technique and this is the perfect age to start.
When our young learners see the world they create in their heads can be transferred to paper, the become addicted to art.
What a great addiction for them to have at such an imaginative and inventive stage in their lives. Wet on wet, overlay, mixing watercolor and marker are just a few ways these young artists will learn to transform their own ideas onto paper using this wonderful media. This is not the only media we will focus on but it is such a wonderful outlet and it is very expensive to give such a large group of artists a real opportunity to explore it. Your donation will go so much farther than you could ever imagine, but not farther than these young artists can.
