My students have been impacted by COVID-19 in many ways. One in particular is communication. During the pandemic, my students weren't able to see each other in person, and over time, starting losing their ability to clearly communicate with others. Most of their communication was limited to texting, emails, and video conferencing. This project will help my students regain and even sharpen their communication skills. For example, my yearbook staff will use the walkie-talkies to better communicate tasks during school events. They will use voice recorders to conduct better interviews which will turn into better stories. The remaining equipment will be utilized in class where students will then collaborate to design and produce quality yearbook pages.
