Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am requesting some art materials that I will be able to use with my students that will allow them to extend their learning in an artistic way. Some of the art materials will be used to make homemade gifts as well.
The canvas will allow students to create a beautiful gift for their families.
I will take a profile picture of each student. They will use mixed media to create a canvas of of themselves showing their love for their families.
The watercolor paper that I am requesting will be used for classroom projects. I also like to use this as an option when students earn classroom prizes.
My plan for the model clay is to allow students to create their own winter themed clay figurine. Students can then write about their winter themed figurine. They can either write a How-To on how they created their figurine or create a little story about their creation.
