Making Math & Reading Fun

Help me give my students a dry erase activity table to work cooperatively on math problems, and also 4 floor seats to read their library books comfortably.

My Project

I'm very excited for the dry-erase table as my students can work collaboratively on math. I have some lower students that would really benefit from working together with some high achievers. Sometimes they just need the help of a peer to get them to understand a specific problem. We can use this table and floor seats for more than just math. They can also study spelling words on it, and much more. I have a loveseat and another little chair in my reading area, however the chair needs to be thrown out. The students love to read back there.

My students love to be comfortable when they are reading and are much more engaged than at their desks.

My reading goal is for more than just a couple of students to be comfortable reading. My goal is for the table will improve math scores.

My students live on the reservation and some of them have had a rough life. My classroom is a safe place for them and I love to give them the best that I can while they are with me for the year. If I can make their year with me special, then is was a successful year.
