My Project

Preschoolers enjoy exploring math concepts while they build, push toys, and fill empty containers. These activities allow the children to understand spatial awareness, measurement, problem-solving. Giving preschoolers opportunities to be active in early math concepts encourages them to solve real-world problems and help them gain a better understanding of number, quantity, size, patterning, and data.

Giving children hands-on materials and tactile resources for them to explore will provide more opportunities for classroom discussions and will encourage preschool students to develop mathematical thinking and reasoning skills.

We are in need of more classroom materials that encourage math discovery and learning. We want the children to see themselves as mathematicians so that they feel confident in what they know and what they can do.
