This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The math materials in this project will become resources for our PreK Math Center in our classroom. My PreK students will be able to use these materials on a daily basis during our class center time.

" The only way to learn mathematics is to do mathematics!" - Paul Halmos - famed mathematician and statistician.

Students will have fun and engaging math materials in their classroom. The find the number activity center will help students find & match tactile number shapes to printed numbers. The number bots will allow students to manipulative shapes to create a number from 0-9. The trace & write number center will help students prepare for math lessons in Kindergarten. And, finally, the geometry light up center will provide hours of fun shape puzzle activities.
