My Students

All I really need to know...I learned in kindergarten!

However, in my case, I learned by teaching kindergarten!

My class is a close group of students that are kind, loving, helpful, and compassionate! They come to school every day ready to learn, and learning truly excites them!

They are budding leaders filled with talent and will one day be world shakers! My class consists of students with different backgrounds and various educational needs. They enjoy hands-on learning, especially with the use of technology!

My Project

With an ever-growing need for mathematical understanding, the importance of basic mathematical comprehension is increasing!

Technology and mathematical understanding go hand in hand!

The Osmo has games that fosters creative problem solving skills, spatial relational skills, and basic math literacy skills, such as counting and one to one correspondence. Having iPads with math games and apps will help my students use technology to help solve problems and reinforce skills learned.

Mathematical fluency has been selected as a school-wide goal for the year. Through the usage of iPads with special apps that are geared towards mathematical fluency and the exploration of math games on the Osmo, our school-wide goal of mastering basic math skills will be obtainable.
