Help me give my students one of a kind books & games that bring a hands on experience that will make this school year a success! These math items will help my students love math in engaging way.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are creative and inspiring young individuals who love learning. They are ambitious and self-motivating. My classroom is diverse and learns best through movement and hands-on learning. My students love to challenge themselves and question the world around them. I am blessed with students who enjoy coming to school each day ready to learn and put their best foot forward. When you enter my room you will always find them engaged in discussion. This allows them to learn from each other and make unique connections to the world around them.
My Project
My first-grade students are working to become mathematicians! This project will make a significant difference in my students' learning. These materials will help me create a variety of math lessons for my students throughout the school year. They will also make my students look forward to practicing their math skills everyday.
The games and books will strengthen their addition, subtraction, measurement, shapes, counting on, and other math skills as well as fine motor skills.
