My Project
My students are a diverse group of learners that come from many different backgrounds. I have several students that speak Spanish as their first language. Many of my students face difficulties in their home lives and don't get much help with math outside of the school environment. Yet, they try to do their best at home with the tools and resources available from the school.
Creating a love and understanding of math is a goal I have for my students.
As a kindergarten teacher, I am so lucky to be able to give my students the opportunity to collaborate and help each other during math. With the use of the slideshows that would be purchased through Teachers Pay Teachers and created by Christina's Colorful Creations, I would be able to enhance my math instruction. The clipart used throughout the slides would help to increase student engagement. I would also be able to give my students more opportunities for differentiation, collaboration, and questioning. There is no time like the present for students to build on their math skills in a fun and engaging way!
