Making Math Games... FUN!

My Students

My students love to be active learners. They are very inquisitive students who want to know the ins and outs of everything they interact with. Usually, when I pick my students up to begin class, they each have something they just can't wait to share with me, ranging from how excited they are to make ice cream, a hands-on project that turned liquid into a solid, to how a big brother helped one student with her homework last night. Each student is so excited to be at school.

But with that excitement comes the reality of having to meet the vast needs of my students, and I do that through differentiation; which means: lots of stuff!

And that's where donors from DonorsChoose comes in! You are the ones helping me meet the needs of all the students in my classroom.

My Project

We are in need of materials to help make math games FUN! In my classroom, students play a lot of interactive games but we are in need of a ton of different kinds of dice! Having multiple kinds of dice will allow my students to play a big variety of games to help with their addition and subtraction skills. The spinners will also be a great addition to our math games to help increase the numbers we are able to play with. The Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT) gift card will help me find materials for new, interesting, and engaging math materials and STEM materials for my students. The laminating sheets will be used to help those products last longer!
