Making Math Fun!

Help me give my students hands-on material for our math centers.My hope is that my students learn about math concepts in a fun, engaging way.

My Students

My class is an amazing bunch of Kindergarten students! The students in my classroom are full of energy and very enthusiastic about learning. We have built our own community in the class, and one of my goals is to provide a safe, inclusive, friendly environment that encourages all learning. This is my first year teaching kindergarten and also many of my students’ first time in a school setting. I am so excited about this school year and seeing all my students grow!

My Project

My students are hands-on learners. I want them to succeed and with the math manipulative/center materials they will enjoy the learning process. Small groups and centers will give them more practice with the skills we would be working on at that time, also review what is needed.

Having engaging math learning centers in my class will help my students practice the math concepts and build fluency.

It will also build their confidence independently and make math connections . My students’ faces light up every time I show them a new math center. The resources will help build excitement in my students' learning. The best way to learn math is to do math”
