My Students

I have an amazing class of 17 active and ambitious first graders who come from very diverse backgrounds. My students are always eager to learn and love coming to school. I feel we have had a tight bond, and we are like family!

We are always learning to be kind and compassionate learners!

We work hard and get a lot of things accomplished during our day! They are very active, so it helps to include lots of movement throughout the day!

My Project

Some of my kids love math, and some kids have a hard time with math. I feel that some fun math games can make learning math fun!

I have a variety of games that would help with addition, subtraction, place value, time, and fluency!

Some are games, and some are flash cards with the pens that tell you if you have the right answer!

At my school we have been incorporating math centers into everyday instruction, and these games would make that time super fun and engaging for kids. It will allow me to work one-on-one with students while others are doing centers!

I want my kids to love math because they will be using it for the rest of their lives!
