Making Math Fun for All!

Help me give my students access to modified math, through games and manipulatives, to teach fractions and other skills. I also provide snacks for my students who are in need of food, please help me stock up.

My Project

I teach 7-9 grade students in an Autism Unit. I have the best kids ever, they are so unique not only in their personalities, but in how they learn. I am wanting to l get some math games and hands on math lessons, so I can teach each student no matter how diverse their learning abilities are. I

also know how important fueling the body is for learning, and I have noticed providing snacks for my students, help keep them regulated through out the school day.

I also use some food as rewards for our behavior system, we have put in place , to help our students work hard and keep them motivated.

With this grant I will be able to teach students on all different learning levels and also provide them with snacks to help them stay regulated.
