Making math enjoyable

My students need fun ways to prepare for the EOG. Student also need a way to organize their classwork.

My Students

I teach 3rd grade math at a Title 1 school in North Carolina. All of the students receive free breakfast and lunch. Students come from all different backgrounds.

Students are full of energy and learning potential.

I am trying to build a classroom in which students will be engaged and excited to learn.

Our students receive food bags every Thursday and we provide food pantries for the families that are a part of our school. Even with everything my students go through, they are always eager to learn!

My Project

My students are gearing up to take the EOG for the first time this year! As they begin to review material taught earlier this year I want to provide students with activities that are fun and engaging.

Students can work collaboratively or on their own and be able to self-check their answers.

My students will be delighted to use the technology to review multiplication, division, fractions, and other subjects included in the review packs.

Students will each be able to have their own bin to keep the materials in. This will allow them to stay organized and get the most out of their EOG preparation.
