Help me give my students the most important skill, reading! Most of the kids are ELD students. The interactive game will provide pictures, word study, and phonics skill. Thus, the students will quickly master the language.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students and families are kind, thoughtful,and hard workers! Although many are from low income homes, they are enthusiastic, eager to learn, and strive to do their best. My students and families are always willing to help others, even though they don't have a lot for themselves. Most importantly, my students come back to visit me throughout their high school and college years. This is awesome, it warms my heart to see them continue their education!
My Project
The materials will enhance my students excitement and and eagerness to learn! My goal is for my students to learn the joy of reading. The workbooks will be used for daily phonics lessons, sight word study, and reading comprehension work. My plan is to provide exciting structure lessons. When students have the appropriate learning material, they thrives, and they learn!
The materials will also give students the tools that are need to master challenging words, and achieve great comprehend skills.
The phonics book provide practice with rhyming, blending sounds, and breaking words into syllables.
Last, the materials and instruction will help my students accomplish the goal stated above. I want them to love reading. The interactive games will encourage, creativity, excitement, and fun. The students will look forward to working with team mates to accomplish their task. My goal is to keep them focused, excited and eager to learn!
