Making Learning Safe and Individualized!

Help me give my students the ability to learn in a safe and independent manner as they return to in-person learning! With the listening center each student will be provided their own headphones and book bin!

My Students

The students in my classroom are a blend of diverse learners and general education students.

The students within the classroom come from low income families with a high mobility rate.

These students are planting their first steps on their educational journey within my classroom. I plan to foster and support a love and desire to learn for each and every one of my students!

My Project

These materials will provided the students with opportunities to engage in hands on and auditory learning as we work on decreasing the learning gap that has occurred as a result of remote learning.

Our students learn best when using their hands and having material presented in a fun and creative manner!

With the listening center students will be provided a different modality to reading and will increase their vocabulary exposure as they "Picture Walk," through the books being read. The alphabet pads and vocabulary cards will provide the students with tactile support as they feel the difference in the formation of the alphabet letter, as well as being direct with their speech sounds when saying words!
