Making Learning Hands On

My students need hands-on center activities like The Take It to Your Seat Math Centers, How Do You Solve It? Activity Cards and Reading Comprehension Bingo.

My Students

My students are very eager to learn and enjoy center time. They learn best when they can engage in a hands-on activity.

My students come from a high-poverty area.

Our school district's budget does not have room to purchase center materials. My students love spending time working in centers with one another. Our classroom is lacking center materials. We have been making do with what we have but we are beginning to run out of new centers to try.

My Project

My students will use the center materials to further reinforce the skills and concepts that they are learning in Reading, Writing, Math and Science. The Reading Comprehension Bingo Library will make comprehension an easier concept for students to grasp. The Take It To Your Seat Math Centers will allow the students to work together and work on concepts that they may still struggle with.

By using these materials it will keep my students engaged and it will enhance their love of learning.

My students will continue to look forward to center time with these materials.
