Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are all from different ethnic backgrounds and low income households. Ages raging from 3 to 5 and with mixed interests, abilities, and goals in Pre-K counts. They are in the critical moment in life when all they need is love, compassion and consistency.

My students love learning, even now that we have to learn in person and virtually from time to time, it is a mutual learning process and together we can make it happen.

My students are amazing, fun and smart, they deserve to play and learn at the same time.

My Project

All of the students want to have fun and learn while playing. The food and baby dolls will make dramatic play more fun to want to be in, while socializing with peers. In math center the new resources will engage the students and help them learn and count. For the block centers they will have fun by identifying and recognizing animals and vehicles.

These activities will help all of the students learn in many different ways and help them forget about the year they didn't get to enjoy in the classroom.

The products that I have selected will help my students by giving them additional activity options in different centers including circle time to make more effective learning choices.
