Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are bright and enthusiastic learners with a passion for learning new things. Their thirst for new knowledge and learning about the world is amazing- they are always questioning and figuring out why things are the way they are.

My students come to our classroom with their own unique life experiences.

I want this school year to be a positive experience that helps set the tone for the rest of their school career. They are excited to share their experiences and knowledge with everyone.

This year, I will be teaching a 1st/2nd grade combination class. My 1st and 2nd graders are eager to learn and so excited to be in school and they need the opportunity to explore and be creative. Teachers Pay Teachers has so many fantastic lessons that can help to supplement the current work we are doing in the classroom. With TPT, I can also easily differentiate my teaching by offering additional work for students who need more support or the be kept engaged with something more challenging. TPT and the lessons available would benefit my students and their learning in all subject areas. The best part about TPT is that the activities I can use aren't always paper and pencil tasks- there are so many wonderful computer lessons that are available as well. Having to juggle curriculum between two grade levels can be a challenge- TPT has great resources that will benefit my classroom teaching, making it easier on me and fun for my students!
