Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have been a teacher now for almost 5 years and I have experience in the primary grade levels.

For the 2022-2023 school year, I will be moving grade levels to a 4th-grade classroom.

I am very excited about this new adventure, but I need some help with materials to get my students engaged in learning.

I plan to have rotations of reading where I was use the reading games. I plan to also have a read to self time and this is when students will use the cushions as flexible seating around the room to be comfy to read.

I also plan on doing rotations in math where students can learn through working together with their peers. The power pens activity is a great opportunity because it self checks them and gives them immediate feedback if their answers is right or wrong. They can also learn through small group time with me the teacher.

The books will help grow my class library with some 4th grade level texts.
