My students need copy and notebook paper for class notes, worksheets, and projects.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Gionti's classroom raised $242

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
"Miss, where is the project sheet?" "Didn't you see the handout?" "No, it blended in with everything else." I teach at a high-needs school in Manhattan, where 90 percent of the students qualify for the free-reduced price lunch program. Many of my students come to school one or two grade levels behind.
One thing I have realized is that getting my students organized helps them succeed academically.
To assist in the organization process, I try to make things simple by color-coding everything: Blue sheets are our monthly schedules, pink sheets are projects, green handouts are homework packets, etc. For my students, most who are special needs, this system has made all the difference.
My Project
For this project, I am requesting reams of colored and white copy paper. The paper will be used to photocopy different assignments, handouts, and graphic organizers for the students. By using brightly colored paper, students have an easier time keeping track their assignments and important materials. Using colored paper will also help me differentiate my lessons for those students who have learning disabilities, making sure all learners are able to succeed. I am also requesting notebook paper for students to write essays and class notes.
With your donation, we can keep my students on the right track.
Organization plays a huge part in being successful in both high school and life. Having colored paper will teach my students organization skills and will ensure that important material is not left behind.
