My Students
As a teacher in a special education self-contained classroom in a low-income school district, my students are faced with challenges inside and outside of the classroom. Despite the many challenges that my students are facing, I am looking to provide them with a fun, interactive, and meaningful learning environment.
My students have a multitude of needs including physical, cognitive, medical, fine motor, sensory, and communication.
They love learning through a multitude of different means such as sensory activities. They learn best though creative and sensory activities.
My Project
My students love learning through music. These Joia Tubes will allow my student to express themselves and play a interactive instrument. The cover will be used to protect the tubes from the elements of nature. The extra mallets will provide multiple students the opportunity to play the instrument and work together.
Music can help many students learn.
These tubes will be used in our incredible garden. These will be used on a daily basis. Many students love expressing themselves through music and these Joia Tubes will provide them with that opportunities.
