My Students
One hundred percent of my students come from impoverished socioeconomically, low income, underprivileged, and disadvantaged homes demographics. My students often live with grandparents and other relatives as the primary caregivers or they are the caregivers for their relatives that are sick.
Even though my students face numerous challenges at home, educationally they still have goals and aspirations to be nurses, doctors, lawyers and engineers.
My goal is to continue to challenge each student to become their greatest selves, starting in the classroom.
My Project
My students and I need a full color, multi-functioning printer. The Epson Eco Tank printer will the perfect companion for all of our mapmaking projects. It affords us the opportunity to not have to purchase ink for at least two years!
These students have a passion for hands-on learning and the joy I get a teacher, to watch them create with their hands and make the global connections with our past and present is amazing!
This printer has over 30 global functions including syncing to Google Maps, meaning it will print in real time, physical, and political maps! even maps in 3D and maps from the early 500 AD!
