Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The paper, chalk, and fire centerpieces will be used to help students complete multiple projects that will enable them to connect with ancient civilizations. The shelves are to display students' "stone" tools.

The goal of this project is to expand my resources in history.

It is my first year teaching history in middle school, and I want to make it special. I have a background in anthropology, and I want to bring that love of ancient history to my students.

My students are sponges this year. They are so inquisitive and interested in ancient civilizations. I want to keep trying to feed their curiosity and help them remain lifelong learners.
