My Project

Hi my name is Ms. Thiel and I teach makerspace (part of related art). I will be doing a community service project this year with my fourth and fifth graders, teaching them how to make hats with the loom and yarn. I want to teach them about giving back and making someone smile who needs a smile so we are gonna be donating to the oncology ward and hopefully the homeless as well. I have done keychains a couple years ago and it helped clear busy minds and had them using their mind/hands differently. My students have been enjoying trying new things they never have done before.
