My Students
My 20 Kindergarteners are creative and thoughtful bundles of excitement! They love learning, especially through hands-on experiences. They thrive while using manipulatives to help reinforce alphabet, phonics, and phonemic awareness concepts.
My Kindergarteners come from many different walks of life.
Some of my students have special needs, some are second language learners, some have Individual Education Plans, and some are from low-income families who qualify for free or reduced-price lunch.
My Project
Students need multiple exposures of content in a variety of ways for it to make a lasting impression in their brains.
Play is the work of children.
We will be using all the resources to help us as we continue learning about the alphabet, phonics, and phonemic awareness. The students look forward to our game day every week and we've exhausted a lot of my current options.
I would love to give my students the ability to practice with fun activities and games as we practice to master our kindergarten skills as we head into the second half of the year to get ready for first grade!
