My Project
Our program has been making a move to make sure the students are getting more fresh fruits over the canned fruit. When we receive these items when we have extras that sometimes go to waste. When Fridays come around we often have strawberries, bananas and peaches left over. As I thought about what was left I placed the items in the freezer. Let’s make smoothies.
We would love a blender to help make delicious smoothies at the end of the week as a healthy treat.
I believe that children are more picky about foods these days and if we can get a little more healthy nutrients into their bodies it will make learning and growing a little easier. And with winter right around the corner a little extra vitamins will help keep all the students and staff a little healthier.
