Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I will be teaching a very special group of kiddos next year, with a brand new kinder to second grade special education self-contained classroom. Currently, that classroom is empty, a blank canvas.

This past year I have been assisting in several self-contained classrooms and I believe that flexible seating and a variety of sensory toys will help with focus and community understanding in our future classroom.

We are teaching special minds, so why not give them a special space to thrive?! I love what I do; that is why I am wanting to give my students an amazing start to their school career.
