This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are energetic and very curious. They enjoy school and learning using all their senses. They are all learning English as a second language. My students attend school in the innercity. The school is nestled among railroad tracks and factories. All of my students qualify for federally funded lunches. They have insufficient resources yet are the most generous.

My students are thirsty for knowledge.

They love to feel like scientists. They're fascinated with the life cycle of animals and plants. They are always ready to learn, and despite their short comings they always try their very best.

My Project

Having resources from teacherspayteachers will give students the opportunity to practice skills learned in reading, math, phonics, and science in a fun challenging way. These resources are age-appropriate and foster students' knowledge in all content areas. They allow the student to practice what they have learned during a zoom lesson.

It would be amazing to receive a teacherspayteachers gift card so that my students can practice fluency, phonics, math facts, and special science projects through lessons and activities created to meet their grade-level standards.

We will begin the school year recieving remote/distance instruction. Due to pandemic we are facing, students need resources from teacheerspayteachers to enhance their remote learning.
