My Students
My students attend school in a low-income community and many receive free or reduced-price lunch. The school that my students attend is an early childhood center in an inner city school district. My students have a variety of ability levels such as students with special needs and gifted students. My students are the future and are building a community to help encourage each other.
I teach in a preschool wing of an early childhood building with ten other preschool rooms.
My classroom goal is to enable learning through play and building a greater understanding of the world.
My Project
These materials will help my students to become great readers in literacy. My students will use these activities to help with letter recognition and letter sounds. The Letter Recognition Instant learning Center, Printing Letters Practice Book, Build the Letter Activity Center, Write the Letter Activity Center, and Find the Letter Activity Center will help my students learn their upper and lower case letters and the letter sounds. The Word Building Magnetic Activity Tin, Story Sequencing Cards, and Letter Crayons Word Building Center will help my students that are learning to read and spell words.
Literacy is a right that every person should have and be able to know how to read and use letters.
My students enjoy learning through play and through centers.
