Help me give my students remediation in the area of money. One of the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic was our students lost valuable educational time. Currently, my students are struggling with identifying basic financial concepts: identifying coins.
I teach students that are resilient and smart. They are middle schoolers with learning disabilities. Many attend the learning support classroom, requesting help in specific areas that they struggle in. They want to learn and understand that they learn differently. After the loss of school time due to the pandemic, a lot of them struggle with identifying and counting money which makes it difficult for them to shop for themselves at the corner store.
My students desire to Make Cents of Money and gain the freedom to shop for themselves while they are in the community.
The resources I am requesting are hands-on and visual. The resources prompt students to add, combine and compare money values. I am also requesting a money game that will allow the students to have fun
