Our smart and engaging students are interested in expanded opportunities. They want to explore their ideas with hands-on projects that allow them to develop and solve problems in a way that reflects the nature of such context in real life. Our students only see possibilities in the world despite the many obstacles they face outside the classroom. Our students are bright, engaging, clever and believe in themselves. As their teacher, I am committed to providing them with unlimited opportunities to have fun.
My Project
We have an abundance of cardboard at our school and we are missing an opportunity to give it a second life in our art room. Acquiring supplies for our art room is a constant struggle. Cardboard is a resource that is thrown away daily and it has so many possibilities for creative uses. To help us reuse all of the cardboard that comes to our school we need special tools that make cutting and attaching it together an easy task not a burden. The hole punches cut through cardboard and will allow the students to attach pieces together. The scissors will allow students to cut through thick cardboard and the canary knifes allow them to cut down larger pieces. The bins are for storage of all these supplies.
