Making a Family and Consumer Science Dream Come True
Help me give my students what they need for a new FACS program. We currently do not have this program and want to make this happen but do not have funds set aside to do so.
We currently do not have a FACS room. This was the number one most requested class by our students. So we want to add it but do not have any funding set aside since it was not planned.
Hands on projects help students learn best and we want to give them this opportunity.
We may not accomplish all the big goals of major appliances, but we could get by with apartment living if we had necessary dishes and cooking tools in each station. Our students are very excited about this class and they are all full as of right now. We do not have any supplies. We need anything and everything but are only asking for the bare necessities. It makes my heart happy to think of offering classes that students are excited about and want to do. In addition we are teaching these students life skills like cooking, sewing, financial literacy and much more.
