This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
It has been over 9 months since the COVID-19 pandemic abruptly ended physical schooling for my students. As a teacher, I scrambled trying to come up with effective strategies to continue delivering new information to my students. Though I am unable to physically be with my students, learning continues through many available online programs and applications.
Please help me give my students the materials that they need in order to keep learning from home.
Our school strives to find the leader in all students. Every child has capabilities, talents, and strengths; sometimes, all it takes is exposure or motivation. The students in my school strive for excellence. They all inherently care about one another and continually make an effort to improve in all aspects.
My group consists of 20 amazing Kindergarten and First grade students.
These students are just beginning their first experience with school in distance learning mode, with many years ahead of them. They are excited and eager to learn. I am a strong believer that "If you involve students in many different activities and experiences, eventually they will find something that they love and excel in."
My Project
The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students will help in increasing my student's engagement and motivation! The paper, pencils, crayons, and other supplies of the sort will be used by the students, so that they actively participate during distance learning. The materials will be used by the students in their own home. The storage bag will help the students to stay organized and keep their materials organized at home.
The donations to this project will help to improve student engagement and motivation in a meaningful way.
We will use these materials to help make learning more hands-on and meaningful for all students. I truly need your support to make this a reality. Thank You in Advance!
