This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Makey Makeys are incredible coding tools to turn any conducive material into a keyboard. Students absolutely love using Makey Makeys to take a simple class project like a habitat project and turning it into an interactive (and computer coded) project that allows for audience participation.

They can used their imagination and take virtually any item and turn it into a keyboard to enhance their learning.

Whether it's making a working piano out of paper and pencil, using brads to make a biography poster about their hero play an audio clip of the actual person, or turning play-doh into a game controller the ideas are limitless! And the best part is it is extremely user friendly!

This kit and the longer cables will allow our students and coding club create magnificent projects!
