Help me give my students a traveling makerspace to enhance their STEM strategies and problem-solving skills.

My Students

No two of my students are ever the same. They are full of life and always ready to learn.

My class is comprised of 40 young learners who are all different in their own special ways.

My students love to be able to make their own education choices. As a teacher, I would love to give them those choices. Many of my students receive backpacks with food on the weekends, as well as extra help throughout the week. Despite this, students are eager to learn daily.

My Project

By incorporating a makerspace into our classroom routine, it will increase our daily exposure to STEM and will increase our problem-solving skills. Students will also be able to create real-world applications for classroom concepts. They will also learn how to take failure in stride. Many students do not know how to fail and then make adjustments to be successful.

Having a traveling makerspace will allow my students to be able to use their makerspace in many different places.

This will allow our makerspace to go with them to reading as well as other classes. Having a traveling makerspace will allow STEM to be incorporated into many different areas of the day.
