Help me give my students the art supplies and other classroom materials needed to be creative problem solvers. We also need school chairs, a step ladder, HP ink, and more.

My Project
We are in need of materials to enable students to create projects that solve problems. While they love using items such as cardboard, bottle lids, paper towel rolls and scraps that might have been thrown away to create, some materials can not be recycled. We are in need of hot glue sticks, toothpicks, sealer, foam sheets, paper punches, fasteners, foil and origami colored paper. The ink will allow students to take pictures, print and post them in the room. This provides inspiration to others and a sense of accomplishment for the maker.
My learners will have opportunities to explore materials that infuse art, science, engineering, math, technology, and lessons that develop a growth mindset, while integrating financial literacy.
My third and fourth grade students go through a unit of study on economics. I would like to use the makerspace time to reinforce the concepts discussed during these lessons. Concepts concerning budgeting, using limited resources, opportunity costs and what is truly needed to complete their project. Students will "purchase" needed materials from our makerspace market. The project will have a money allowance with materials priced based on supply and demand of materials.
I am excited to teach financial literacy to my elementary students in engaging and hands-on ways. The materials generously donated through this project will allow me to create the market with needed STEAM supplies for designing bridges, mazes, roller coasters, and games. The future engineers, architects, scientists, and artists are in my room and ready to begin.
