Makerspace Makes Learning Fun

Help me give my students a variety of supplies to make our makerspace and centers fun!

My Project

Students need time to build and explore their own interests. For this reason I have been creating book-themed centers for my young learners. They listen to a read aloud and then interact with the book through related centers.

Some of the supplies in this project are going to help me create a Lego wall to use with any book theme.

Other supplies will help students see butterflies "fly" through the use of magnets. For an engineering unit, students will be able to apply their fine motor skills for cup stacking.

Of course, no project is complete without the ability to store the new materials. Bins are added to this project to store previously purchased legos for the lego wall, cup stacking materials, and flying butterflies materials.
