Makerspace In The Classroom

Help me give my students in finding success during Makerspace this year and years to come.

My Students

The students in this class don't have the opportunity or time to intertwine math, science and English, along with communication in their daily curriculum once they hit Junior High and beyond.

Here I can intertwine these three core subjects together.

Besides English, I also have the opportunity to teach one Makerspace class where students are able to bring math, science, and English and art into their learning.

My Project

In middle school, often times students no longer integrate math, science, English and art. In Makerspace, I am able to create a space where students come to integrate all subjects and explore their creativity.

We will be using the 3D printer with Tinkercad to create 3D models that can be used in various ways, such as designing a bridge that can hold weight.

Students will be expected to integrate other items as well, such as building with sticks, cups and boxes, as well as design with art.
