My Students
our school is extraordinary because of the incredible students, parents, community partners, and staff who bring it to life each day. Their energy, love, and passion are infectious, and we are so grateful for all they do to make us something great. The students are hard workers and love to compete with each other in regards to grades, but they also will stop and help their peers whenever possible.
My Project
Makerspaces foster innovation through hands-on experimentation. Participants have the opportunity to be creative and apply personalized learning strategies to make changes to existing concepts or develop their own ideas, methods or products.
These materials will be placed in our STEM lab and used in our school.
In experimentation, testing, evaluating and modifying are part of the process. Participants learn how to make failure into a learning experience and not become discouraged or frustrated when something doesn’t go as planned.
The teacher will read a fairy tale "Goldie Locks and 3 Bears" They will identify the problem. ...Goldilocks needed a just right chair. The kindergarten class will design and create a just right chair using the beginning of a Makerspace area.
