My Project
The enthusiasm in the library Makerspace this year has been unprecedented and it's been thrilling to see students teaching each other skills around polymer clay and embroidery! It seems like getting new materials increases energy.
We selected these two craft ideas because they seem inexpensive (and therefore, somewhat sustainable, even with a school of 6,000) and EXCITING!
Carving erasers and uses them as stamps and learning about paper quilling, which we can use to create cards or decorative posters, will appeal to our students and staff, and definitely have not been done before! We are also excited to share some Instagram crafters whose work will inspire our students.
