This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are future engineers, designers and entrepreneurs. They are makers who love to design and develop their ideas to help solve problems in the world. They are artists who love to draw, paint, build and perform. At our middle school in Jamaica Queens, some of our students may not have access to technology at home. We want to make sure our students know that there is no limit to what they can do when they work hard and believe in themselves.
My Project
These Cricut devices and materials will help my students to be able to make anything that they can dream of. My students are coders, designers and makers. They are constantly thinking about how they can solve problems in the real world and spread positivity. We already have a Cricut machine but need more materials so that we can use them to make our ideas become a reality. These materials will help us to make mugs, shirts and more so that we can be creative and spread positivity in our school community.
