This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our elementary school is such a beautiful, diverse community of students.
They are eager to learn and on their way to becoming exemplar citizens, and innovative thinkers in society.
My students are within the ages of 5-11 in grades K-5. I am the librarian at our elementary school. We have over 800 students enrolled. Each of those students with their own personal interest and abilities, and each of those students so interested in technology.
When it comes to technology they take risk and love to be in control. I would like to harness that energy and give them the opportunity to explore the 21st century skills needed for jobs in the fields of technology, engineering, and sciences!
My Project
These wonderful resources will create an experience for each and every child at CTE. It will create a community of makers and thinkers. With this mindset, students will be empowered to explore areas of interest and make something out of nothing while preparing them with the much needed 21st Century Skills!
We need a Makey Makey kit and the HUE Animation studio kit which will empower students to be able to take ordinary day-to-day objects and create stop motion films or give them touch-pad or mouse click capabilities.
The use of a Snap-Circuit Kit will empower students to enter the world of circuits.
