My Students
Have you ever wanted to make sure your students were able to access the technology they need to help prepare for the future. I want my students to be able to have this ability.
My students are in a suburban area, but most families are struggling.
They are hard working families that try to do their best for their students. The students come to school eager to learn, and we are proud to have a great attendance rate. We are close to a high school that has been a "Project Lead the Way" school. These students come to our school to volunteer. The students love the older students!
My Project
We have a great working relationship with the high school and middle schools nearby. The students attending those schools come to our school to volunteer. We also have local volunteers in our school. This Makerbot 3D printer will allow for afterschool clubs to help jump start our elementary students in using this technology. It will be able to help so many areas. From the art department, special education department, and regular classrooms, we will be able to do projects that will expand our horizons and help get the students ready for the world they will be living in.
The technology will not only help the students learn new STEM skills, but it will also bring together local volunteers, older students, and a group of teachers all working together to create new worlds for our students.
