MakerBot For Students

My students need a 3D printer that will print the projects they make in their 3D Animation class.

My Students

My students are using cutting edge technology that will prepare them to go out in the world and create new and amazing products, from jewelry to robotic parts and even houses. They are in need of a 3D printer to realize their designs.

We are a high school in an innovative and forward thinking community.

The students are excited to take on this complex but exciting 3D tool that is a perfect expression of their creativity. They are able to create anything. Our goal is to prepare our students in cutting edge technology.

My Project

The students use Blender software to model objects in 3 dimensional space. Currently the students are taking pictures of what they create to show but they have not had to opportunity to realize the actual objects. The students would use the 3D printer to print what they create from robotic parts to jewelry and small figurines.

3D printing is the future.

We have seen it work for printing products, parts of machines, houses and even body parts. These students will be ready to create new things that will help our society using mechanical or biological cutting edge technology. Imagine them creating organs on the computer that will then be printed and used to help someone in need. My students will be able to imagine this and much more.
