My Project
I teach gifted education in West Virginia. I have 45 students from 11 different elementary schools. I am itinerant, which means I am at one location on M,W,F and another on T,Th. My students are in grades 1-5. This project is for Maker-space supplies. Maker-spaces have many benefits, including: Hands-on learning and thinking outside the box. Maker-spaces offer opportunities to learn through making and tinkering, which can be a great way to learn.
Maker-spaces encourage creativity, innovation, and curiosity through hands-on, collaborative projects.
With the items in this project, my students will have materials and tools needed in their Maker-space area. Our Maker-space area is a favorite for most of my students because they use their imagination and end with an amazing product. I also added two travel water bottles to this project. Due to me being itinerant and traveling from school to school, I need a way to transport water without spilling it. Thank you for reading our project.
