My Project
Our district has a Google account set up for each student when they enter our schools. All they need is a device and the basic instruction to get them started so that they can manage all of their writing in one place for the whole time they are in school K-12 grade. Now, that's amazing. However, in order to be able to use Google Docs, students must have access to a device. We are not a school that has access to devices throughout the day, yet many students want to write and add to their writing at times other than computer time (which is once a week).
Chromebooks not only make it easy for students to manage their documents but they allow students to import graphics and submit their projects digitally into Google Classroom.
Chromebooks are preparing our learners for more than just middle school and high school. Chromebooks are empowering students to access the digital world in a meaningful way and it makes writing FUN!
