This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Making learning fun with engaging station play is a big hit in my classroom. My students are more willing to try and learn new things when they are given a fun activity/game to complete during independent station time. Seeing their happy faces when they have accomplished a new skill brings joy to my heart, as I know they are making progress and I am meeting their needs.

With the addition of this 15 bin mobile storage center, I will be able to place differentiated literacy and math activities/games in one specific place, where all students can easily access them.

Having a storage unit on wheels will also allow flexibility of where we can house these activities in the classroom as well.

Transitioning from one activity to another can be difficult for my young learners but with this storage addition, I am hopeful they will be able to access and transition through the activities a little smoother. This will also assist my students in becoming more independent with their work.
